Bring clean and dry shoes to change into before you go onto the dance floor. Shoes that allow you to slide a little may be a place to start before you are ready to purchase dance shoes. 

You may eventually want to buy dance shoes. We don’t recommend any product, vendor, or store, but there are YouTube videos and stores you might find useful when searching for “West Coast Swing dance shoes.”
